Candidate selected for Gosport

28 March 2015

SE Hampshire Green Party is delighted to announce a full slate of candidates in both the Parliamentary and the Local elections in May 2015.

Monica Cassidy (pictured above) has been selected as the Parliamentary candidate in Gosport, and she now joins Ian McCulloch (Portsmouth South), Gavin Ellis (Portsmouth North) and Miles Grindey (Fareham) to give the Green Party a full presence in South East Hampshire; and, for the first time ever in the Portsmouth City Council election, the Green Party is standing in all 14 of the City Council wards.   This is a reflection of the “Green Surge”, and it is the first time that all voters across our local area will have the opportunity to cast a Green vote for a sustainable and fair future.
