The South East Hampshire Green Party has condemned Cllr Paul Whittle’s recent decision regarding the opposition leader’s job move, the party said “his choice has enhanced an ever increasingly negative view on politics.”
Former Green candidate for Warsash Miles Grindey said “Cllr Whittle’s choice of employment is unworkable, he can’t work in Saudi and expect to fulfil his obligation as the people of Fareham East’s representative. If I were in his shoes I would never even think of getting a job anywhere outside of Hampshire. The people always come first.”
